Main Characters:

- Guld Goa Bowman – strong, half alien a bit brutal man;
- Sharon Apple – computer program, in some sort – girl;
- Myung Fang Lone – the singer girl;
well now, this one truly is one of the best OVAs there is (well maybe not the best best one, but at least somewhere in top 10). Starting from the music (which is kinda interesting and more unique), continuing with animation and drawing, and finishing with the story line.
Though it takes only 4 episodes, but its enough to show a deep emotional side of characters, have some fun, fights, nice piloting and mecha parts. Everything starts with a bit not traditional slow, high tuned and a bit melancholic song (though I was watching eng dub). Story goes on around three old friends, who separated because of some mysterious and not fully explained circumstances. Both boys are in love with the same girl and are more or less fighting because of her. After a long period of separation boys meet in a experiment area, where they both are testing pilots and fights with each other. Both of them represent different team and the one who wins, his team wins.
The girl during that time stops singing and becomes a producer of one singing computer program (and that is not so far from our reality – think of the Vocaloids, they even gave a live concert), who (mm or what in this case probably) is one of the most famous singer in galaxy. At first Myung also gives her emotions to the program, because it is not fully finished, but later it separates and starts to act on her own. In other words goes berserk and starts to shoot.. hem hem I mean sing, in all directions. (and it still is not understandable for me why it wanted to kill Isamu, while Myung was so in love with him and gave all that emotion to the program, probably its like in one old and a bit sarcastic phrase – “He beats, that means he loves”, this love was really a strong one).
one minor detail – I think its the most perfect moment in all anime (I have in mind 30 first sec. of the video below). I dont know why – because all anime is good, but this moment, this music, everything makes it somehow more than just anime:

He is 16. Are you kidding me? Its no way he looks like 16. Ya sometimes boys grow up fast and look older than they are, but still he doesn’t look like a teenager to me…
Other small funny thing that got my eye on were animals. Ya there is a huge dinosaur flying, but I don’t mean it. It somehow even fits to the context. I mean these ones, what a hell are they? – cow-birds?:
